The band was established in Skarżysko-Kamienna in Poland. happysad is best known for its trademark sound, combining lively and sharp rock music riffs with the indie-inspired melodic beat. The band, which has played well over 1200 gigs across the country is a perfect fit for intimate club concerts and at home at stages of massive outdoor festivals, where hundreds of thousands of people know and belt out their lyrics together with the band. Their shows are an opportunity to experience a community of music. 

 

 

Band's lyrics refer to experiences and emotions everyone can recognise. The music played by happysad can be described best as their own take on shoegaze - they combine a stunning wall of guitar music with rhythmic beats and interesting guitar effects. Their music is memorable, relatable, and relevant.

The band released eight studio albums, which were featured on the bestseller lists and top hit lists throughout the years. The group has five platinum and three gold-certified albums. happysad has played at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World three times - in 2012, returning in 2013 as winners of an audience award. They returned once more, in 2019 for a tour-de-force performance as the band celebrated its 18th anniversary. happysad's performance at Pol'and'Rock Festival 2019 was a real homecoming, a show where the band and the audience came together to celebrate music. 

 

 

This year the fans will get to meet the band in a different setting. happysad will play live from the festival studio in Warsaw. Their performance will be streamed live on the festival social media channels and Kręcioła.TV YouTube channel.
