Pol’and’Rock Festival in a new place

The open-air edition of the Pol'and'Rock Festival took place in several locations: in Czymanowo on Lake Żarnowiec (1995), in Szczecin - Dąbie (1996), in Żary (1998-1999 and 2001-2003) and in Kostrzyn upon Oder (since 2004). At this year's edition of the Festival, we meet at the Makowie-Płoty Airport in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The 27th Pol'and'Rock Festival takes a hybrid form – a limited number of people who purchased tickets take part in a stationary form. It is worth remembering that the Festival connects people wherever they are and whatever they do, that's why festival goers are everyone who is also online with us during the almost 50-hours of live streams!

Communication with festival goers

Now everyone can feel part of the Festival, no matter if they come to the new location or watch the broadcast anywhere in the world. All they need to do is download the Festival application that the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has prepared together with Play. Thanks to push-up notifications, festival goers can be up to date with all the most important information, plan their own event schedule or use a map of the area. Jubilee guitar from Szymon Chwalisz

Szymon Chwalisz – painter, graphic artist, illustrator, designer, who specialises in airbrushing, has prepared a unique festival guitar for the tenth time. As it was done in the past, the guitar was decorated with images of festival’s guests – this time they are: Andrzej Chyra, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Jakobe Mansztajn from Make Life Harder, Kasia Kowalska and Adam Nowak from the band Raz, Dwa, Trzy. According to tradition, guests will sign their autographs on the guitar.

After the end of this year's edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World, the guitar   as part of next year's jubilee 30th Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. It will be available for sale at Allegro auctions for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

 

What were the amounts of the guitars auctioned off in the previous years?

 

  • During the 25th Final, a guitar painted by Szymon was sold for PLN 50,100!
  • A year later, Slash's guitar from Guns N 'Roses reached the value of PLN 60,200!
  • During this year's 29th Final, the guitar was auctioned off for a record amount of PLN 70,100!

The winner of Antyradio’s Antyfest - Batna will play at the Festival

The band Batna from Silesia became the winner of the Antyradio’s Antyfest2021 - the biggest rock talent show in Poland. As a reward, band received a commemorative statuette of "Golden Scythe". They will also perform on the Main Stage on the second day of Pol'and'Rock Festival 2021, record a professional album in Izabelin Studio, and its promotion will be provided by Antyradio – the largest rock radio station in Poland. Two other bands, Punched Orange and Symptone received special awards. This year's final of the competition was the first to be organized in the formula of an all-day festival.
